Some Changes Coming To TCC

Hello, people. Just thought I would distract you briefly from your awesome Saturday and fill you in on some changes coming to the TCC site. Since our start in February of this year, it's been the plan for us to expand and improve upon both the podcast itself and the user experience on the site. Also, we've given considerable thought to ways in which we can defer hosting costs and get more cool shit your way. Hence, these changes.

Amazon Links

When you see affiliate links on a website, I'm sure your first thought is "ZOMG LAME ARG CLICK AWAY CLICK AWAY." Well, hopefully our amazon links don't give you the same reaction. We've placed a link to buy the DVD we do commentary on next to the film's info and "commentary play" button. This way, if you like the commentary and want to see the movie in question, you can just click straight through and buy it. And since it's an affiliate link, we can get a little kick back for recommending such an awesome (or craptastic) film to you. There's no mouse-over popups to worry about, just a good ole' clickable link. Check it out, buy the movies, and become part of the conversation!

Schwag

It's our plan in the coming months to start up a TCC store where you can get cool Technicolor shit and show off to your friends and neighbors how "hip" and "with it" you truly are. Since all three of us draw and have experience in the graphic arts, the possibilities are endless. Keep an eye out for the store and prepare to lose your money...I mean...invest wisely. :)

Site Re-design

Planning has begun to revamp the site's look and make it more user friendly. As it stands right now, our site is pretty good, but it's not quite TECHNICOLOR GOOD, which is where we want things to be. Stuff like header images, sidebars, themes, widgets, etc. are going to get some kind of overhaul.

Thanks for sticking with us jokers for 26 episodes so far. You ain't seen nothin' yet!

About movieguyjon
