Tron Legacy Soundtrack Update!

Guess what? It's another post about Daft Punk. Know why? Cause they've recently released the first song from their Tron Legacy score to the world...

In case you're unawares, Daft Punk was asked to score the sequel to Tron, called Tron Legacy, which is due out next year. Reports tell us they've written a whopping 24 songs for the soundtrack, and now the first one is out!! 24 new songs to a Daft Punk fan is mega huge; they have almost doubled their repertoire with this one album. And it makes sense to have people like Daft Punk do the score for something like Tron, no? Hell, they could cameo in the thing and slip by unnoticed...unless they were dancing. Which they should be.

Now, technically the song up top is an ARRANGEMENT of their theme from this flick, which I don't quite understand. Regardless, the really truly real song was played at the San Diego ComiCon during the reveal of the new light cycle designs. Nerds were agape, half for the cycles, half for the Daft Punk. So here's the authentic, actual song...

2010 has never seemed so far away.
